Jai Opetaia returns to the ring on June 8 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, facing undefeated contender Claudio Squeo (17-0, 9 KOs). Opetaia last fought in January, stopping David Nyika in four rounds, after victories over Jack Massey, Mairis Briedis, and Ellis Zorro. Squeo, unranked in The Ring’s top 10 and No. 14 with the IBF, takes a big step up in competition.
In the co-main event, light heavyweight prospect Conor Wallace (15-1, 11 KOs) meets France’s Dylan Colin (14-1, 4 KOs), who is coming off his first career loss to Daniel Lapin (10-0) in December.
